Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Amendment to Transit New Zealand Bylaw 1999/13 : Bylaw Regulating the Speed of Vehicles on State Highways in Transit New Zealand Regions 13 and 14

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand hereby amends the above bylaw as follows:

A m e n d m e n t

  1. This amendment shall come into force 28 days after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. In the Second Schedule, before clause (5) insert:

The section of State Highway No. 1 in Dunedin which includes Cumberland Street and Andersons Bay Road (serving traffic travelling in a southerly direction) from a point (Route Position 706/0.54) at the intersection with Water Street to a point (Reference station 707) at the intersection with the Caversham Bypass Motorway; a distance of 1.1 kilometres.

In the Third Schedule after clause 10 insert:

The section of State Highway No. 87 that is:

(a) At Mosgiel from a point (Route Position 0/2.76) measured 180 metres north of Eden Street to a point (Route Position 0.3/62) measured 200 metres north-west of Dukes Road; a distance of 860 metres.

(b) At Hyde from a point (Route Position 82/13.48) measured 200 metres south of Cemetery Road to a point (Route Position 96/0.75) measured 800 metres north-west of Cemetery Road; a distance of 1 kilometre.

This amendment is made by delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Authority.

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand hereby amends the above bylaw as follows:

A m e n d m e n t

  1. This amendment shall come into force 28 days after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. In the First Schedule before clause 4 insert:

That section of State Highway No. 1 that is at Ohaewai commencing at a point (Route Position 83/5.36) approximately 340 metres northwest of the junction with State Highway No. 12 and extending in a generally southeasterly direction to a point (Route Position 88/0.30) approximately 300 metres east of the junction with State Highway No. 12; a distance of 640 metres.

That section of State Highway No. 12 that is at Ohaewai commencing at a point (Route Position 0/0.00) at the junction with State Highway No. 1 and extending in a generally southwesterly direction to a point (Route Position 0/0.42) approximately 50 metres west of Remuera Settlement Road; a distance of 420 metres.

This amendment is made by delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Authority.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaration that Conservation Land Become a Reserve

Pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby declares that the conservation area described in the Schedule hereto shall hereinafter be set apart as a reserve, subject to the provisions of the latter Act, to form part of the Wrights Hill recreation reserve.
