Amendment to a Notice — Declaration that Land is a Reserve, Classification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby amends an error in the notice, dated 22 December 1998 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 14 January 1999, No. 1, page 68, by replacing the words “Gore District” in the Schedule with, “Invercargill City”.

Declaration That Land is Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Hamilton City Council on 13 August 1997:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Hamilton City Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the First Schedule hereto, shall be declared recreation reserves and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be declared local purpose (esplanade) reserves within the meaning of the said Act.”
