| “(f) The amount of any regular payments received under any welfare programme approved under section 124 (1) (d) of the Act, but excluding payments under the Away from Home Allowance Programme or other regular payments intended to pay or reimburse specified costs of the applicant (other than payments under the Telephone Costs Payment Programme); and” | This Direction, made by the Minister of Social Services, Work and Income under section 5 of the Social Security Act 1964, amends the Direction given by the Minister on 10 February 1999 relating to the grant of special benefit. |
The amendments are consequential on the Minister establishing the Telephone Costs Payment Welfare Programme dated 28 March 1999 under section 124 (1) (d) of the Social Security Act 1964. The Schedule amends the definitions of “Allowable costs” and “Chargeable income” in Paragraph 2.1 of the Direction dated 10 February 1999 and requires certain costs and any Telephone Costs Payment to be taken into account for the purposes of assessing entitlement to Special Benefit.
The amendments come into force on the date the direction is signed.

Notification of Ordinary Rules
Pursuant to section 34 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given of the ordinary rules set out in the Schedule hereto which come into effect as stated in the Schedule.
Schedule
Civil Aviation Rules Part 91: General Operating and Flight Rules, Amendment 5, which shall come into effect on 15 July 1999.
These ordinary rules are available for inspection at the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand, 1 Market Grove (P.O. Box 31-441), Lower Hutt.

(2) The Traffic (Franklin District) Notice No. 5, 1998* is revoked.

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990
Pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Victor Ian Everiss, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3 of this notice.
