Dissolution of Board of Trustees and Appointment of Commissioner at Raumanga School (No. 1090)

Pursuant to section 106 (1) (aa) of the Education Act 1989, for the reason that so many casual vacancies have arisen that there is no longer any member of the board who is eligible to preside at meetings of the board, and acting under delegated authority I hereby dissolve the Raumanga School Board of Trustees and appoint

Mr Ray Curnow

as Commissioner to act in its place.

This notice will come into effect the day after its publication.

The Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice (No. 2) 1999 (No. F121)

Pursuant to section 28w (3) of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control, after consultation with the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board and the Treaty of Waitangi Fisheries Commission, and after having regard to the provisions of section 28w (5) of the Fisheries Act 1983, hereby gives the following notice:

  1. Title and commencementβ€”(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice (No. 2) 1999.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Exemption to quota aggregation limitβ€”As from the date that this notice comes into effect, Mr D. L. Jones and Serene Fishing Company are permitted to hold quota and interest in quota in excess of the Fisheries Act 1983, up to a limit of 32.5 percent of the Total Allowable Commercial Catch for sea perch in quota management area 3.
