Wellington Polytechnic (Disestablishment and Incorporation in Massey University) Order 1999

Pursuant to section 164 (1) and (4) of the Education Act 1989, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
- Title and commencement— (1) This order may be cited as the Wellington Polytechnic (Disestablishment and Incorporation in Massey University) Order 1999.
(2) This order comes into force on 1 July 1999.
- Wellington Polytechnic disestablished and incorporated in Massey University—The polytechnic that, immediately before the commencement of this order, was known as the Wellington Polytechnic—
(a) Is disestablished; and
(b) Is incorporated in Massey University.

Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 1 July 1999, disestablishes the Wellington Polytechnic and incorporates it in Massey University.
The St Patrick’s College (Silverstream), Board of Trustees Student Election Extension Notice
Pursuant to clause 9 (2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the closing date for receiving nominations (and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (Trustee Elections) Regulations 1992) for the election of a student representative for St Patrick’s College (Silverstream) Board of Trustees.
Nominations shall now close on 11 June 1999.
This notice takes effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975
Supplementary Integration Agreements
Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that supplementary integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:
Matamata Christian School, Matamata.
The said supplementary integration agreements were executed on the 19th day of May 1999. Copies of the supplementary integration agreements are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, corner of Grey and Bridge Streets, Hamilton.

Kamo Christian College, Whangarei (Attendance Dues) Notice 1999
Pursuant to section 36 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, the Minister of Education hereby gives notice approving the charging of attendance dues at Kamo Christian College, Whangarei.

This notice shall be cited as the Kamo Christian College, Whangarei (Attendance Dues) Notice 1999.

The proprietor of the above-named school may enter into an agreement with the parents or other persons accepting responsibility for the education of a child at the above-named school requiring them to pay attendance dues.

The attendance dues payable in respect of any pupil shall be $370 (plus G.S.T.) per annum, per student.

Attendance dues received by the proprietor shall be used for the purpose of paying for such improvements to, or for such capital works associated with, buildings and associated facilities of the above-mentioned integrated school as may be required or approved by the Minister of Education, pursuant to section 40 (2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, or for meeting debts, mortgages, liens, or other charges associated with any of the land and buildings that constitutes the integrated school.

Kingsway School, Whangaparaoa (Attendance Dues) Notice 1999
Pursuant to section 36 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, the Minister of Education hereby gives notice approving the charging of attendance dues at Kingsway School, Whangaparaoa.

This notice shall be cited as the Kingsway School, Whangaparaoa (Attendance Dues) Notice 1999.

The proprietor of the above-named school may enter into an agreement with the parents or other persons accepting responsibility for the education of a child at the above-named school requiring them to pay attendance dues.
