Land Act 1948

Reservation of Land

Pursuant to section 167 of the Land Act 1948, the Conservator, West Coast, under delegated authority from the Minister of Lands, and with the consent of the Minister of Conservation, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977.

9.2520 hectares, more or less, being Section 40, Block III, Lewis Pass Survey District.

New Zealand Walkways Act 1990

Declaration of the Establishment of a Walkway to be Known as Beehive Creek Walkway

Pursuant to section 8 of the New Zealand Walkways Act 1990, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Wanganui Conservator of the Department of Conservation, hereby declares that a walkway has been established over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, that the land described in the Schedule shall be known as Beehive Creek Walkway and that the walkway will be closed for lambing purposes from 1 August to 30 September in each year.

Land Acquired for Limited Access Road at Hortons Road Intersection—State Highway No. 60

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule is acquired for limited access road which, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, has become road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Trevor Knowles, Land Information New Zealand, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired, subject to an agreement as to fencing contained in conveyance 370759 (R510/82), for special school and is vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
