Restriction on Vegetation and Erection of Structures in Rodney District—State Highway 1, Managwhai
Pursuant to section 236 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule to be subject to the following restriction:
The land shall be kept clear of all vegetation above 150 millimetres and no structure of any type other than standard rural fencing using posts spaced no closer than 5 metres apart with either:
i. Seven galvanised wires with galvanised droppers spaced at no less than 1 metre centres; or
ii. Prefabricated netting fence material consisting of vertical and horizontal wires spaced no closer than 150 millimetres to 100 millimetres from top to bottom vertically and 300 millimetres horizontally;
shall be erected on the land.

Pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule to this notice, is set apart for sanitary works purposes and to remain vested in the Far North District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road Stopped in the South Wairarapa District
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twydle, Land Information New Zealand, Wellington:
(a) declares that, pursuant to sections 116 and 177 (3) (a) of the Public Works Act 1981, the road described in the First Schedule is stopped and vested in the Wellington Regional Council, by way of exchange for land taken for road from the Wellington Regional Council, as stopbank for soil conservation and river management purposes on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
(b) declares that, pursuant to sections 116 and 118 of the Public Works Act 1981, the road described in the Second Schedule is stopped and vested in the South Wairarapa District Council as esplanade reserve on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Second Schedule
All that parcel of road containing 2.2661 hectares, adjoining the Ruamahanga River and situate in Block XVI, Wairarapa Survey District marked “S” on S.O. Plan 37505.

Pursuant to section 320 of the Maori Land Act 1993, and in accordance with a recommendation made by the Maori Land Court to the Minister of Transport, I, the Right Honourable Sir Michael Hardie Boys, Governor-General of New Zealand, declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be road.
