Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 12 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 28 October 1998, which was granted under those regulations to Janice Deverick in respect of:

Otaua/Aka Aka Playcentre, situated at Otawa/Aka Aka Road, Otawa.

The centre has moved premises.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

St Joseph’s School, Hawera.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 1st day of April 1999. A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 116 Victoria Avenue, Wanganui.

The Resource Management (Approval of Orion New Zealand Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1999

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Orion New Zealand Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1999.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Approval as requiring authority—Orion New Zealand Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, for its network utility operation of the distribution and transmission by pipeline of natural gas.

The Fisheries (Revocation of Satellite Vessel Monitoring Circular) Notice 1999 (No. F116)

I hereby advise that Circular Three, issued by the Ministry of Fisheries on 14 February 1994, pursuant to regulation 4 of the Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993, and notified in the New Zealand Gazette of 17 February 1994, is hereby revoked.

The Fisheries (Issue of a Satellite Vessel Monitoring Circular) Notice 1999 (No. F117)

I hereby advise that, after consultation with the Seafood Industry Council Limited, the New Zealand Federation of Commercial Fishermen and the New Zealand Fishing Vessel Owners Association, a circular has been issued on the 6th day of April 1999, pursuant to regulation 4 of the Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993.

Circular Six specifies the organisation approved to test automatic location communicators against the standards and requirements issued under the above regulations in Circular One, and its amendments.

A copy of Circular Six, and Circular One and its amendments, may be obtained from the following offices of the Ministry of Fisheries:
