Scott and D. Brookes have ordered that a

owned by the above-mentioned defendant, Nader Audisho, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Hamilton, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Hamilton, by 5.00 p.m. on the 24th day of March 1999.

Amendment to Constitution of Council of Nelson Polytechnic

Pursuant to section 170 of the Education Act 1989, the Minister for Tertiary Education hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as the Constitution of the Nelson Polytechnic Amendment Notice 1999, which shall be read together with and deemed part of the Nelson Polytechnic Notice 1990 (“the principal notice”)*.

  2. This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  3. The principal notice is hereby amended by omitting clause 5 and substituting the following clause:

“5. Subject to section 173, the maximum term for any member, other than the Chief Executive Officer, shall be three consecutive 4-year terms.”

Pursuant to section 170 of the Education Act 1989, the Minister for Tertiary Education gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as the Constitution of the Otago Polytechnic Notice 1999.

  2. This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  3. The Otago Polytechnic Council shall be constituted as follows:

(a) Four members appointed by the Minister of Education.

(b) The Chief Executive Officer of Otago Polytechnic.
