The Traffic (Far North District) Notice No. 2, 1999
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:
N o t i c e
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Far North District) Notice No. 2, 1999.
(2) Those localities and roads within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on the plan numbered LT9901/1, entitled “Far North District Roading Speed Restrictions at Panguru”, and held by the head office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, are declared to be closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962 as may be ascertained from the legend. The plan and legend are hereby incorporated into this notice.
(3) The Traffic (Hokianga County) Notice No. 2, 1974* is revoked.

The Traffic (Matamata Piako District) Notice 1999
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:
N o t i c e
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Matamata Piako District) Notice 1999.
(2) Those localities and roads shown within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on the plan numbered L99/13 entitled “Matamata Piako District Council Speed Restrictions at Matamata”, held by the head office of the Land Transport Safety Authority are declared to be closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 at all times pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962; except where declared:
(a) as 70 kilometres an hour speed-limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976; or
(b) as excluded from the limitations as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, as may be ascertained from the legend. The plan and legend are hereby incorporated into this notice.
(3) The reference to the map TP9403/1 entitled “Matamata Piako District at Matamata” in the Traffic (Matamata Piako District) Notice No. 1, 1995* is revoked.

School Crossing Point Trial Amendment Notice
Pursuant to section 78 of the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to a sub-delegation to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety by an instrument dated the 3rd day of May 1999, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager Safer Roads, hereby amends the “School Crossing Point Trial” notices dated the 9th day of January 1997*, 12th day of February 1998† and 4th day of December 1998** and issued pursuant to section 78 of the Transport Act 1962 by:
(a) revoking those provisions of the notice dated the 4th day of December 1998*** specified in Schedule 1 of this notice; and
(b) inserting in the notice dated the 9th day of January 1997* those provisions specified in Schedule 2 of this notice.
