Traffic Regulations 1976

Notice

Pursuant to regulation 130 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to a sub-delegation to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety by an instrument dated the 3rd day of May 1999, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager Safer Roads, Land Transport Safety Authority, hereby approve reflective materials as listed in Schedule 1 and Schedule 2, for the purpose of traffic signage.

Schedule 1

The following material is approved for use for traffic signs

Schedule 2

The following material is approved for use for belisha beacon discs:

3M™ Diamond Grade® LDP material: Fluorescent Orange Reflective Sheeting (3924).

Stimsonite® Series 6200 Dual Spec Plus material: Fluorescent Orange

The following material is approved for use for traffic signs mounted on vehicles which are covered by any operating requirements, general permits or any specific or special overdimension permits set by the Land Transport Safety Authority:

3M™ Diamond Grade™ LDP material: Fluorescent Yellow-Green Reflective Sheeting (3963).

Stimsonite® Class 1A Fluorescent Yellow-Green

The following notice issued pursuant to regulation 130 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is hereby revoked:

The Traffic (Western Bay of Plenty District) Notice 1999

Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:

Notice

(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Western Bay of Plenty District) Notice 1999.

(2) The locality and road within the marking identified in the legend of and appearing on the plan numbered LT9925/1, entitled “Western Bay of Plenty District Roading Speed Restrictions at Omokoroa”, and held by the head office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, is declared to be a closely populated locality at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962.
