Revocation of the Reservation Over A Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for a youth holiday and recreation camp over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

9591 square metres, more or less, being Section 46, Tauwera District, situated in Block IX, Otahoua Survey District. All GN. 836717.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How the Proceeds of Sale Shall Be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a utility reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the South Waikato District Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from such sale to be paid into council’s reserves account to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

South Auckland Land District—South Waikato District

30 square metres, more or less, being Lot 2, D.P. S. 12385. All the land in transfer S. 11479 held as utility reserve under the Reserves and Domains Act 1953.

Amending Proclamation Better Defining a Declaration of Beds of Certain Rivers and Streams Flowing Into Lake Taupo to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the Governor-General, by Proclamation under section 14 (4) (a) of the Maori Land Amendment and Maori Land Claims Adjustment Act 1926, on 7 October 1926 declared parts of the beds of certain rivers and streams flowing into Lake Taupo to be Crown land *

AND WHEREAS the Proclamation further declared parts of the beds of the tributaries to the named rivers and streams flowing into Lake Taupo (except as regards the Tongariro River) to be Crown land

AND WHEREAS it is desirous to better define the lands subject to the Proclamation

AND WHEREAS section 14 (5) of the Maori Land Amendment and Maori Land Claims Adjustment Act 1926 provides that any proclamation made under section 14 may be amended, varied or revoked as the Governor-General thinks fit.

AND NOW THEREFORE in pursuance of the powers vested in me by section fourteen of the Maori Land Amendment and Maori Land Claims Adjustment Act 1926, I, Sir Michael Hardie-Boys, Governor-General, do hereby make the following Proclamation:—

I do hereby proclaim and declare that the Proclamation of 7 October 1926 is amended as follows:

By adding the following paragraph to Part I of the Proclamation:

‘‘(f) This Proclamation includes those parts of the beds of the named rivers and streams set out in the First Schedule which at 7 October 1926 were flowing through any areas of land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto.’’

By adding the following as the Fourth Schedule:
