Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence
Further to a notice in the New Zealand Gazette of 15 July 1999 and pursuant to section 87J (6) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated 27 August 1996, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 28 August 1996, I give notice that the Minister of Transport has varied the Scheduled International Air Service Licence held by Air New Zealand to provide for, in respect to New Caledonia, 1 weekly frequency with any type of aircraft or up to 2 weekly frequencies with aircraft, the capacity of which does not exceed 300 seats and 1 additional frequency with any type of aircraft during 15 weeks within a 12 month period. The second weekly frequency permitted by this variation must be taken up within 6 months of 7 November 1999.
