Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twyde, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for soil conservation and river control and vested in the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to sections 20 and 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twyde, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby set apart in connection with a road, subject to lease B. 075105.2, subject to right of way, right to convey water, right to drain water and sewage in easement certificate D. 205642.3, subject to Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987, subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991, and together with the right of way, right to convey water, right to drain water and sewage in easement certificates D. 205642.3 and D. 205642.4 and excludes coal and other minerals remaining in deeds index I8.680, and shall vest in the Whangarei District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land to be Acquired for Road and Road to be Stopped and Amalgamated—State Highway No. 4, Mapiu—Waitomo District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twyde, Land Information New Zealand,

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is acquired for road, which pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989 shall form part of State Highway No. 4 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 (1), 117 (3) and 120 (3), declares the portion of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 238/80.
