Misuse of Drugs Act 1975
Amendment to Medical Practitioners Who May Prescribe, Administer, or Supply Controlled Drugs for the Purpose of Treating People with Drug Dependence
Pursuant to section 24 (5) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, I, Janice Marjorie Wilson, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Health, amend the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette of 29 September 1998 at page 5, by deleting the following words:
βDayll Jensen of Christchurchβ
thereby revoking the authorisation for Dr Jensen to prescribe, administer, or supply controlled drugs for the purposes of that section.

Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the notice but is intended to indicate its general effect.
Dr Dayll Jensen was specified as a medical practitioner who could prescribe, administer, or supply controlled drugs for the purposes of section 24 (5) (a) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975. Dr Jensen has relocated from Christchurch and is now practicing in Rotorua. She no longer requires the specification under 24 (5) (a).

Product ruling No. 99/13 was issued on 3 September 1999. It relates to the raising of equity by the issue of shares in the issuer, and various sections of the Income Tax Act 1994 and section 63 (1) of the Estate and Gift Duties Act 1968. It will appear in Tax Information Bulletin, Vol. 11, No. 10 of November 1999.

Permission to Conduct Within New Zealand a Prize Competition Promoted Outside New Zealand
Pursuant to section 69 of the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977, I, Jack Elder, Minister of Internal Affairs, hereby permit Next Gaming Pty Limited, to conduct within New Zealand, subject to the conditions specified in the Schedule to this notice, a prize competition promoted outside New Zealand as a sales promotion scheme, to promote the sale of the New Zealand Playstation Magazine.

Conditions
The permission given by this notice is subject to the following conditions, namely:
(1) Next Gaming Pty Limited shall not conduct the sales promotion scheme in New Zealand after 22 December 1999;
(2) The results of the sales promotion scheme shall be published in the February issue of New Zealand Playstation Magazine on sale from the 5th day of January 2000;
Winners will be notified by certified mail;
(3) New Zealand winners shall not be subject to any extra cost when they claim their prizes;
(4) The chance of a New Zealand participant winning a prize shall be equal to that of an overseas participant.
