Land Acquired for Road Diversion and Declared Road, 18 and 18A Northcote Road, Christchurch

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule of this notice is hereby acquired for road diversion and is vested in the Christchurch City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the Second Schedule of this notice to be road and to remain vested in the Christchurch City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

First Schedule

Firstly, an estate in fee simple as to an undivided one-half share in 764 square metres, being Lot 2, D.P. 14924 and secondly, an estate of leasehold created by lease 993176/1 in Flat 1, D.P. 60653. Both the above described estates being comprised and described in certificate of title 35C/1137.

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twydle, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the notice dated the 7th day of September 1999, published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 16th day of September 1999, No. 123 at page 2948, by substituting “the Turitaka Trust” in the recital with “The Proprietors of Turitaka A3 Block”.
