(i) The windscreen wiping and washing equipment conforms to all applicable requirements of Australian Design Rule 16/01: Windscreen Wipers and Washers;
(ii) This exemption may be revoked at any time.

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990
Pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Victor Ian Everiss, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

Notification of Approval of Substance as a Dispersant
Pursuant to rule 132.4 (a) of the Marine Protection Rules, I hereby give notice that the substance
PES-51i, manufactured by Petroleum Environmental Services Inc
has been approved as a type 1 dispersant, in accordance with Part 132 of the Marine Protection Rules, made pursuant to the Maritime Transport Act 1994.
Subject to the following conditions:
-
PES-51i is to be used as a dispersant within New Zealand continental and internal waters, and discharged therein only with the approval of a regional or national on-scene commander appointed pursuant to the Maritime Transport Act;
-
PES-51i shall not be used as a dispersant and discharged into New Zealand continental or internal waters at locations and times of spawning of either oyster or mussel populations;
-
PES-51i sold for use as a dispersant in New Zealand must be labelled or marked with details of the restrictions set out in 1 and 2 above.
