Road to be Stopped and Amalgamated—State Highway No. 1, Marlborough District

Pursuant to sections 116 (1), 117 (3) and 120 (3) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand declares the portions of road described in the Schedule to this notice to be stopped and further declares:

(a) The portion of road firstly described shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 59/132, subject to mortgage 163984.2; and

(b) The portion of road secondly described shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 58/48, subject to mortgage 203088.1.

Land Acquired for a Recreation Reserve, Roto Kohatu, Christchurch

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into:

(a) The land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a recreation reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and shall vest in the Christchurch City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) A right of way easement described in the Second Schedule is hereby created over the land described in the Third Schedule appurtenant to the land described in the Fourth Schedule on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
