Declaring State Highway to Be Limited Access Road: State Highway No. 2, Wairarapa
It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 3 September 1997 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares the parts of State Highway No. 2, as more particularly shown in Plans LAR 9/2/3, LAR 9/2/6 and LAR 9/2/7 and accompanying Schedules held in the office of the Regional State Highway Manager, Transit New Zealand, Wellington and there available for public inspection, to be limited access road.

At Masterton on the eastern side of the State highway commencing at the northern boundary of Lot 22, D.P. 68587 (at Route Position 873/8.19) and proceeding in a generally southerly direction to the northern boundary of Fourth Street (at Route Position 873/9.00); a distance of approximately 810 metres.

At Greytown:
(a) On the southeastern side of the State highway commencing at the western boundary of Moroa Plain Road (at Route Position 905/4.45) and proceeding in a generally southwesterly direction to the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 64070 (at Route Position 905/5.20); a distance of approximately 750 metres.
(b) On the northwestern side of the State highway commencing at the eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 17741 (at Route Position 905/4.45) and proceeding in a generally southwesterly direction to the southwestern boundary of part Section 38, Moroa District, S.O. 10620 (at Route Position 905/5.60); a distance of approximately 1.15 kilometres.
- At Featherston:
(a) On the southern side of the State highway commencing at the western boundary of Moore Street (at Route Position 921/0.33) and proceeding in a generally westerly direction to the northwestern boundary of part Section 338, Featherston Suburban District, S.O. 11073 (at Route Position 921/1.10); a distance of approximately 770 metres.
(b) On the northern side of the State highway commencing at the western boundary of Watt Street (at Route Position 921/0.33) and proceeding in a generally westerly direction to the western boundary of section 346, Town of Featherston, S.O. Block III, Wairarapa Survey District (at Route Position 921/0.84); a distance of approximately 510 metres.

Conservation Act 1987
Declaring the Disposition of Land to be Exempt From Section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987
Pursuant to section 24b of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that section 24 of the Conservation Act, which deals with the reservation of marginal strips, shall not apply to the disposition of the land in the Schedule hereto.

Hawke’s Bay Land District—Hastings District
7,2170 hectares, being part Old Tutaekuri River Bed; shown and marked “A” on S.O. 10873.

Declaring the Disposition of Land to be Exempt From Section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987
Pursuant to section 24B (4) (b) of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director-General of Conservation, hereby declares that section 24 of the Conservation Act, which deals with the reservation of marginal strips, shall not apply to the disposition of the land in the Schedule hereto.
The land constitutes parts of the Otahuhu Power Station, areas which are required in connection with electricity works.
