Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988

Termination of Dumping Investigation: ACE Inhibitors From Germany and Switzerland

Notice is hereby given that, acting pursuant to section 11 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 (herein after referred to as “the Act”), I have terminated a dumping investigation in respect of ACE Inhibitors from Germany and Switzerland (and the “subject goods” as described in the Notice of Initiation of Dumping Investigation of 8 April 1999 (New Zealand Gazette, 15 April 1999, page 1066)), imported or intended to be imported into New Zealand.

I have terminated the investigation because I am satisfied:

(a) under section 11 (1) (d) of the Act that the application for the investigation has been withdrawn in writing by those Australian producers by or on whose behalf the application was made; and

(b) under section 11 (1) (e) of the Act that the Australian producers who previously expressed support for the application for the investigation have withdrawn that support in writing to such an extent that, by reason of section 10 (3) of the Act, the investigation could not have been initiated.

Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations (General Licence for Spread Spectrum Radio Apparatus) Notice 1999

Pursuant to regulation 13 of the Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations 1993, and acting under delegated authority from the Secretary of Commerce, I give the following notice:

Notice

1. Short title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations (General Licence for Spread Spectrum Radio Apparatus) Notice 1999.

(2) This notice comes into force on the 9th day of September 1999.

2. General licence—A general licence under regulation 13 of the Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations 1993 is granted for the installation, operation, and use of radio apparatus in accordance with the terms of this notice.

3. Terms, conditions and restrictions—(1) This licence applies only to apparatus which complies with technical specification RFS 29 and in respect of which a declaration of conformity has been submitted to the Secretary under regulation 43 of the Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations 1993.
