(ii) This exemption may be revoked at any time.
Withdrawal of Exemption
I hereby withdraw the exemption published in the New Zealand Gazette on 17 December 1998, No. 200, page 4776, titled “Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990”.

Notification of Maritime Rules, Part 80
Pursuant to section 448 (2) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, notification is hereby given of the making of the following maritime rules.
Part 80—Marine Craft Used for Adventure Tourism
Part 80 of the maritime rules shall come into force 28 days after the date of this notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
Part 80 of the maritime rules is available for inspection at the Head Office of the Maritime Safety Authority of New Zealand, Level Eight, AMP House, 109 Featherston Street, Wellington, and for purchase from Publishing Solutions Limited, P.O. Box 983, Wellington 6015.

Water Recreation Regulations 1979
The Water Recreation (Lake Waihola) Notice 1999
I, John Norman Keith Mansell, Divisional Manager, Maritime Operations, pursuant to regulation 20 (1) (b) of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979*, and in exercise of powers delegated to me, pursuant to section 257A of the Harbours Act 1950 and section 443 of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, hereby give the following notice:
Notice
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Lake Waihola) Notice 1999.
(b) This notice shall come into force 14 days after publication in the New Zealand Gazette and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Regulation 7 (1) (b) of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979 is hereby modified to the effect that no person shall propel or navigate a small craft at a proper speed exceeding 5 knots within 100 metres of the shore of Lake Waihola.

Regulation 8 (1) (b) of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979 is hereby modified to the effect that no person in charge of a small motor craft shall use it or allow it to be used so that any water ski, aquaplane, or other similar object, or person towed by the craft is towed, propelled, navigated, or manoeuvred, at a proper speed exceeding 5 knots within 100 metres of the shore of Lake Waihola.

Declaring State Highway to be Limited Access Road: State Highway No. 2, Region 3, Boundary to Ngatea and Ngatea to Opoueka Road
It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 2 December 1998 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares those parts of State Highway No. 2 described in the Schedule hereto, and as more particularly shown on Plans LR 148, LR 149, LR 150, LR 151 and LR 152 and accompanying schedules held in the office of the Regional State Highway Manager, Transit New Zealand, Hamilton and there available for public inspection, to be limited access road.

Commencing at Region 3 Boundary (at Route Position 32/0.00) and proceeding in a generally easterly direction to Ngatea (at Route Position 48/0.00); a distance of 16.23 kilometres.

Commencing at Ngatea (at Route Position 48/0.96) and proceeding in a generally south easterly direction to Opoueka Road (at Route Position 61/8.96); a distance of 20.9 kilometres.
