Declaring State Highway to be Limited Access Road: State Highway No. 5: Hickeys Bridge to Homestead Road

It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 1 July 1998, and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 5, commencing at the southern abutment of Hickeys Bridge (Route Position 77/8.80) and proceeding generally in a southerly direction for a distance of 8.65 kilometres to Homestead Road (Route Position 77/17.45) as more particularly shown on Plan LA 20/61/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Regional State Highway Manager, Transit New Zealand, Hamilton and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Declaring State Highway to be Limited Access Road: State Highway No. 30, Rotokawau Road to Lake Okataina Road

It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 1 July 1998, and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 30, commencing at Rotokawau Road (Route Position 158/3.62) proceeding in a generally easterly direction for a distance of 7.74 kilometres to Lake Okataina Road (Route Position 158/11.36) as more particularly shown on Plan LA 25/125/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Regional State Highway Manager, Transit New Zealand, Hamilton and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 1 July 1998, and pursuant to the section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 3, commencing at the southern abutment of the Waipa River Bridge (Route Position 53/4.32) proceeding in a generally southerly direction for a distance of 1.84 kilometres to Spicers Road (Route Position 53/6.16), as more particularly shown on Plan LA 20/46/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Regional State Highway Manager, Transit New Zealand, Hamilton and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Conservation Act 1987

Setting Apart Conservation Land as Reserve

Pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Nelson/Marlborough Conservator of the Department of Conservation hereby declares that the conservation areas described in the Schedule hereto, shall hereafter be set apart as reserves subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as local purpose (quarry and road spill site) reserves subject to the provisions of the said Act.
