Public Works Act 1981

Declaring Road Stopped and Land Set Apart for Local Road at Evansdale in the City of Dunedin

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Dunedin, declares:

(1) Pursuant to section 116 (1), the road described in the First Schedule hereto, to be stopped.

(2) Pursuant to section 52 (1), the land described in the Second Schedule hereto held for better utilisation, shall be set apart for local road and shall vest in The Dunedin City Council on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

(3) Pursuant to section 52 (1), the land described in the Third Schedule hereto held for better utilisation, shall be set apart for Crown land.

Railway Land Declared Road — State Highway No. 2, Papatawa and Gaisford Road, Tararua District

Pursuant to section 114 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Property Officer, Land Information New Zealand, Wellington, declares the Railway land described in the Schedule to be road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 2 and shall remain vested in the Crown.

Amending a Gazette Notice — Road to be Stopped and Amalgamated — State Highway No. 3, Te Kuiti–Waitomo District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands hereby amends the notice dated the 23rd day of February 1998, published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 5th day of March 1998, No. 34, page 841, under the heading “Road to be Stopped and Amalgamated — State Highway No. 3 Te Kuiti–Waitomo District” by making the area of land mentioned in recital (b) which is to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 1115/102 also subject to pipeline certificates S. 412470, H. 291486, H. 826173, land improvement agreement H. 523841 and caveat B. 457648.1.
