Cancellation of Vesting and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby cancels the vesting in The Southland District Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto and further revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the said land.

1.1965 hectares, more or less, being Sections 16 and 17, Block VII, Otara Survey District, being part of the land contained in GN. 195331.2.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Community Relations Manager of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Kapiti Coast District Council on the 19th day of February 1998:

"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Kapiti Coast District Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said council in fee simple and described as Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, D.P. 15862 (all C.T. 597/105), shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act".

Corrigendum

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, Canterbury, hereby amends the notice vesting a reserve in The Timaru District Council, dated 17 March 1998 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 45, page 1050, by deleting the reference to "S.O. 15925" in the Schedule and substituting in its place "S.O. 15295".

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a papakainga reserve and a marae for the common use and benefit of the whanau of Frances Caroline Ratima otherwise known as Frances Caroline Harmer. Notice Excluding Land From a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (5) (a) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori reservation, in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby excluded from the existing Maori reservation in respect of the land known as part Opuatia No. 18 Block which was set aside for the purpose of a meeting place and papakainga for the common use and benefit of the owners, the subtribes Ngati Kaiaua, Ngati Tipa, Ngati Rangiwhaiti of the tribe Ngati Tipa by notices published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 156, pages 4141–4142 of the 7th day of September 1989 and New Zealand Gazette, No. 48, page 9447 of the 4th day of July 1946.
