Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Community Relations Manager, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes, and it shall thereafter be so held.

Schedule

Taranaki Land District—Stratford District

38.7881 hectares, more or less, being parts Section 57, Block I, Mahoe Survey District being the balance of the land in certificate of title 106/204 (Taranaki Registry).

Reserves Act 1977

Corrigendum

Declaration That Three Local Purpose Reserves be Classified and Vested in Trust in the Auckland City Council to Form Part of the Claris Airfield

In the declaration with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette, 9 April 1998, No. 53, page 1174, amend the first sentence of the second paragraph to read “Furthermore, the vesting is in consideration of the Auckland City Council paying the Consideration to the Crown (Department of Conservation) and, that if the said reserves, or any part or parts of the said reserves, are to be revested in the Crown, pursuant to section 27 of the Reserves Act 1977, or any similar provision, then the Auckland City Council shall receive compensation for the land so revested.”

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Tasman District Council on the 28th day of May 1998.

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Tasman District Council hereby resolves that, the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act”

3.0606 hectares, more or less, being Lot 18, D.P. 10077 and part Lot 2, D.P. 6761 (All certificates of title 5B/1353 and 7A/820).

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

1012 square metres, more or less, being Reserve 1383, situated in Block IV, Brunner Survey District. Part New Zealand Gazette, 1980, page 2564.

Cancellation of Vesting of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager of the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby cancels the vesting in The Southland District Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
