Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 of the said Act, and further, declares that, the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Abut Head Scenic Reserve.

151.3828 hectares, more or less, being Rural Section 2464, situated in Block I, Whataroa and Block XIII, Mt One One Survey Districts. All certificate of title 1B/1010.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, Otago Conservancy, Department of Conservation hereby authorises the exchange of that part of the Seven Mile Creek Recreation Reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land, described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Parts of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (museum and parking) reserve over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and further, revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The North Shore City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

8 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 5, D.P. 131812. Marked “A” on S.O. Plan 68489. Part Gazette notice C. 243645.1 (New Zealand Gazette, 1991, page 606).
