Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired for Road, Gill and Leach Streets and Belt and Colson Roads, New Plymouth

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands, declares that agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in The New Plymouth District Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.

As shown marked on the plans numbered as above mentioned, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at New Plymouth.

Land Declared to be Road, Road Stopped and Land Taken in the District of Tasman

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Team Member, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Nelson:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be road and vested in The Tasman District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 116 (1), declares the portion of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped.

First Schedule

Nelson Land District—Tasman District

779 square metres, situated in Block XI, Waimea Survey District, being part Lot 12, D.P. 8710; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 15479, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Nelson.

Second Schedule

Nelson Land District—Tasman District

2830 square metres, adjoining or passing through part Section 20, Square 1 and Lot 12, D.P. 8710; as shown marked “C” on S.O. 15479, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Nelson.

Land Acquired for State Primary School in Rangitikei District

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Warranted Officer, Regional Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Wellington, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a State primary school and vested in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land at Arthur’s Pass Acquired for Local Purpose (Sewage Treatment and Disposal) Reserve

Pursuant to sections 20 (1) and 50 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Land Information New Zealand, Christchurch, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for a local purpose (sewage treatment and disposal) reserve under the Reserves Act 1977 and shall vest in The Selwyn District Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.
