Civil Aviation Act 1990
Notice of Granting of an Open Aviation Market Licence
Pursuant to section 87U (4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990
and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated
28 August 1996, I give notice that, having received an
application from Trans World Airlines, Inc., of St Louis,
Missouri, United States of America, I have granted that
airline an open aviation market licence to carry on
scheduled services and non-scheduled flights in accordance
with the 18 June 1997 Air Transport Agreement between
the Government of New Zealand and the Government of
the United States of America, for an indefinite term with
effect from 12 May 1998.

Industry Training Act 1992
Plastics Industries Training Organisation Incorporated
The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency,
pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992,
hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 20th day of April
1998, the Plastics Industries Training Organisation
Incorporated, was granted full recognition as an Industry
Training Organisation for the Plastics Industry (defined as
the conversion of polymers into end products or
components for other products, including but not limited
to plastics moulding, extruding, forming, conversion and
fabrication processes) for a further period of 5 years with
effect from the 17th day of May 1998.\n
It will set standards on the National Qualifications
Framework in the above areas: Levels 1–8.
The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested
organisations over the setting of skill standards.

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency,
pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992,

1998, the New Zealand Engineering, Food and
Manufacturing Industry Training Organisation
Incorporated, was granted full recognition as an Industry
Training Organisation for the industries in which the core
business of enterprises is as follows: mechanical and
manufacturing engineering and fabrication (excluding
metal furniture and boat building), food and beverage
manufacturing, chemical product manufacturing
(principally cleaning products), cosmetics and toiletry
preparation manufacturing and soap and other detergent
manufacturing, lift and escalator servicing, fire protection
systems, locksmithing and gunsmithing industries, for a
further period of 5 years with effect from the 19th day of
April 1998.
It will set standards on the National Qualifications
Framework in the above areas: Levels 1–8.
The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested
organisations over the setting of skill standards.
