Objects to the proposed name of Waitakere on the grounds that the proposed name is misleading as to location and substantial land mass which comprises the proposed electorate.
Suggested solution To name the proposed electorate Titirangi.
09 002 b,h Objection S Russell (See General 002 for details on this objectorβs overall strategy for electorate changes).
Objects to the inclusion of the Rewarewa and Green Bay statistical area units in the proposed Waitakere Electorate on the grounds that other changes to neighbouring electorates require additional population to be added to the proposed Mt Roskill Electorate.
Suggested solution Transfer these area units to the proposed Mt Roskill Electorate.

Mt Albert
11 001 b,h Objection New Zealand Labour Party
Objects to a portion of the suburb of Wesley being included in the proposed Mt Albert Electorate.
Suggested solution To include the area bounded by Mt Albert Road, Owairaka Avenue and Lorraine Avenue in the proposed Mt Roskill Electorate. This would reunite the suburb of Wesley.

Mt Roskill
12 001 b Objection E A M Simm
Objects to the inclusion of the area bounded by Pah Road, Mt Albert Road to the Royal Oak roundabout and Manukau Road in the proposed Mt Roskill Electorate on grounds of community of interest.
Suggested solution To include the above areas in the proposed Maungakiekie Electorate and to exclude some of Mangere/Otahuhu area, including Middlemore Hospital, from the proposed Maungakiekie Electorate.
12 002 b Objection C & M Wonton
Objects to the inclusion of the part of Onehunga west of Te Papapa in the proposed Mt Roskill Electorate on the grounds it does not meet topographical features and fragments community of interest.
Suggested solution To retain the existing Maungakiekie boundary.
12 003 b Objection L Craig
Similar to Objection 12/002.
Suggested solution Move the boundary with Maungakiekie from Victoria Street westward to Symonds Street or at least Onehunga Mall. In turn, the former Epsom/Maungakiekie boundary could be retained
