Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Ngati Kahungunu O Te Wairoa Amendment Notice 1998
Pursuant to sections 146 and 155 of the Education Act 1989, and to a delegation from the Minister of Education, Group Manager, Kathy Smith, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby gives the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Ngati Kahungunu O Te Wairoa Amendment Notice 1998.

The notice entitled “Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Ngati Kahungunu O Te Wairoa”, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 30 May 1996, No. 54, page 1408, is hereby amended by revoking clause 3 and substituting the following clause:
“3. I hereby establish in Wairoa a primary school called Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Ngati Kahungunu O Te Wairoa, and designate the school as a kura kaupapa Maori.”

This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Qualifications Recognised by the Secretary of Education For the Purpose of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990
Pursuant to regulation 40 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, I hereby amend the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 3rd day of August 1995, No. 75, page 2048.
Where an early childhood centre is a playcentre affiliated to the New Zealand Playcentre Federation and operates under the group supervision collective points system, the Secretary for Education hereby recognises the following certificates awarded by the Playcentre Association.
The Secretary for Education hereby recognises for the purpose of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990:
King Country Playcentre Association:
Part 1: Introduction to Playcentre.
Part 2: Understanding Playcentre.
Part 3: Working with Children.
Part 4: Early Childhood Certificate.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975
Integration Agreement
Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that an integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:
Matamata Christian School, Matamata.
The said integration agreement was executed on the 1st day of May 1998. A copy of the integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the national office of the Ministry of Education, Pipitea Street, Wellington.

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:
St John’s College, Hastings.
The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 27th day of April 1998. A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 65 Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt.
