Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 28th day of April 1998 at the District Court at Tauranga, Steven Peter Abraham of 60 Valley Road, Mount Maunganui, was convicted and sentenced to 6 months periodic detention, 9 months supervision and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 2 years from 28 April 1998, following his conviction on 28 April 1998, for an offence of driving with excess breath alcohol.

And in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge D. C. McKegg has ordered that a

Holden Berlina motor vehicle, registered No. MO 2517

owned by the above-mentioned defendant, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 28th day of April 1998.

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 27th day of April 1998 at the District Court at Tauranga, Daniel Gordon Hopkins of 18 Valley Road, Mount Maunganui, was convicted and fined $500, Court costs $130 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 6 months from 5 May 1998, following his conviction on 27 April 1998, for an offence of driving while disqualified.

And in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge B. H. S. Neal has ordered that a

Ford Escort motor vehicle, registered No. IQ 7782

owned by the above-mentioned defendant, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Tauranga, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Tauranga, by 4.00 p.m. on the 27th day of April 1998.
