Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, Canterbury Conservancy hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Waimakariri District Council on the 23rd day of March 1998:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Waimakariri District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be, a local purpose (flood mitigation) reserve, within the meaning of the said Act.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator for the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as reserves for hospital purposes over the lands described in the First Schedule and revokes the reservation as a reserve for Government purposes (health services) over the land described in the Second Schedule.
