Wild Animal Control Act 1977

Kaweka Recreational Hunting Area

Pursuant to section 27 of the Wild Animal Control Act 1977, the Director General of Conservation varies the notice forming the Kaweka Recreational Hunting Area dated 17 January 1986 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1986, page 220, by allowing commercial hunting within the recreational hunting area for a period of 3 years from the date of the publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette. The Director General also permits for a period of 3 years from the date of the publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, hunting within all of the recreation hunting area by wild animal recovery hunters under the supervision of the Department of Conservation.

Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 (2) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 9th day of January 1998 at the District Court at Hamilton, Frank George Thomson of 499 Bruntwood Road, Cambridge, was convicted and sentenced to 3 months imprisonment following his conviction on a charge of driving while disqualified (2).

And in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge G. A. Rea, has ordered that a

owned by the above-mentioned defendant, Frank George Thomson, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (2) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.
