Definition of Areas

Wairau Lagoons: That area defined as all open waters, islands and the peninsula between Chandlers Lagoon and Big Lagoon, south of the Wairau River mouth, including Te Aropipi Channel and north of the White Bluffs.

Pheasant Area: The area west of the Bryant Range, north of SH63 from St. Arnaud to Kawatiri Junction and east of the Hope and Arthur ranges.

Shooting hours: 6.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. during May 1998 and 6.45 a.m. to 6.15 p.m. from 1 June to 26 July 1998 incl. Canada Geese may be hunted or killed 24 hours per day after 26 July 1998.

Decoy limit: No limit.
