Shooting hours: 6.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., except for Canada geese which may be hunted 24 hours per day.
Decoy limit: No limit.
Special Conditions

It shall be an offence to hunt or kill game from any unmoored boat, camouflaged or otherwise, within the Wellington Fish & Game Region during the first two days of the open season for game, being Saturday 2 May and Sunday 3 May 1998.

Unpinned magazine shotguns may be used for the hunting of Canada Geese and Paradise Shelduck for the period 6 February to 7 March 1999 in areas A and C.
