Public Works Act 1981

Land to be Taken for Road and Road to be Stopped and Vested Mokau and Clifton Roads, Tongaporutu

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands declares:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, the areas described in the First Schedule hereto, to be taken for road and vested in The New Plymouth District Council.

(b) Pursuant to section 116 (1), the area of road described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be stopped.

(c) Pursuant to sections 117 and 120 (3), the road described in the Second Schedule, now known as Section 1, S.O. 10359, when stopped to be vested in Laurence Edward Jordan, Reginald Norman Chilcott and Victor Lewis Gibbs and amalgamated with the land in certificate of title A3/402, subject to memoranda of mortgages 258457.3, 277909.8 and 366869.8.

Second Schedule

All shown coloured as above mentioned on Survey Office Plan No. 10359, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at New Plymouth.

Land Acquired for Road—Mokau Road, State Highway No. 3—Waitomo District

Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands, declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, to be road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 3, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for use in connection with a road, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
