Conservation Act 1987

Amendment to Notice

Pursuant to section 50A of the Conservation Act 1987, and a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Department of Conservation, Wellington, hereby amends the notice Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 19 February 1998, No. 28, page 631, by replacing the reference “932 square metres” in the firstly described land for the reference “923 square metres”.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Schedule

Otago Land District—Queenstown Lakes District

35.1577 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 23260 and Section 2, S.O. 22995. Subject to a lease registered in Volume 17C, folio 552.

Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution concerning the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto was passed by The Waitakere City Council at its meeting on the 8th of September 1997:

“That Lots 3 and 4 on Deposited Plan 33908 and Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 62245 be classified under section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977 as recreation reserve”.

North Auckland Land District—Waitakere City

842 square metres, more or less, being Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 53908. All certificate of title 6A/63.

35 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 62245.

All certificate of title 19A/1277. Subject to section 305 (1) (a) of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

All situated in Block III, Tiritirangi Survey District.

Reclassification and Naming of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby reclassifies the part of the reserve, described in the First Schedule hereto, as local purpose (community buildings) subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, and declares the reserve shall hereafter be known as Totaravale Reserve.

North Auckland Land District—North Shore City

1035 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 109, D.P. 58805, situated in Block VII, Waitemata Survey District; marked “A” on S.O. 68427. Part certificate of title 14A/428.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (parking) reserve over that part of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Papakura District Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

43 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 15, D.P. 38891, situated in Block IV, Drury Survey District. Marked “A” on S.O. 69015. Part certificate of title 945/80. Limited. (Cancelled).
