Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On the 3rd day of February 1998 at the District Court at Tauranga, Samuel Teputu O’Brien, occupation unknown of 23A Belray Place, Papamoa, was convicted and sentenced to 3 months periodic detention and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for 12 months from 3 February 1998, following his conviction on 3 February 1998, for an offence of driving whilst disqualified having previously been convicted of driving whilst disqualified and in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge I. B. Thomas has ordered that a

Vauxhall Viva motor vehicle, registration No. FT 7746

owned by the above-mentioned defendant, Samuel Teputu O’Brien, be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

Order Closing the District Court Office at Putaruru

Education Act 1989

Dissolution of Te Kao Area School Board of Trustees

Pursuant to section 107 (1) of the Education Act 1989, I am satisfied that the Te Kao Area School Board of Trustees should not continue in existence by reason of mismanagement and lack of action, and I hereby dissolve the Te Kao Area School Board of Trustees and direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a commissioner to act in its place.

Section 116 of the Food Act 1981

The New Zealand Food Standard 1996, Amendment No. 6, was issued by the Minister of Health on the 16th day of February 1998.

This standard, and the material incorporated by reference in this standard, i.e., the Australian Food Standards Code, up to and including Amendment No. 37, is available for inspection at the Ministry of Health, 133 Molesworth Street, Wellington.

Copies of both the New Zealand Food Standard 1996 and the Australian Food Standards Code, and their amendments, are available for purchase from any Bennetts Government Bookshop.

The New Zealand Food Standard 1996, Amendment No. 6, will come into force on the 28th day after the date of this notification.
