Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves Specifying the Manner and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as road reserves over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares the said land may be disposed of by The Hutt City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in towards the purchase of other lands for reserves.

349 square metres, more or less, being Lot 4, D.P. 34496, situated in Block X, Belmont Survey District. Vested on D.P. 34496.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired in connection with a road, subject to and together with the rights set out in the Schedule, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
