Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Southcity Christian School, Hamilton.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 11th day of December 1998. A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, corner of Grey and Bridge Streets, Hamilton.

Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998

Fisheries (Declaration of Mataitai Reserve) Notice 1998 (F108)

Pursuant to regulations 20, 21 and 22 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998, the Associate Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Declaration of Mataitai Reserve) Notice 1998.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Interpretation—In this notice:

(a) The term “mataitai reserve” means a traditional fishing ground at Rapaki Bay encompassing those waters which lie inside straight lines drawn from the Cass Bay-Church Reserve boundary (at 43° 36.78' S and 172° 41.6' E) to Windy Point (at 43° 36.895' S and 172° 40.4' E) to the 1C Taukahara boundary (43° 36.951' S and 172° 40.95' E); then along the mean high water mark to the point of commencement.

(b) Any reference to “Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki” means any person or persons appointed as Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for the mataitai reserve under regulation 21 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998.

3. Declaration of a mataitai reserve—The Associate Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control hereby declares a mataitai reserve at Rapaki Bay in Lyttelton Harbour, Banks Peninsula.

4. Appointment of Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki—Wiremu Gillies and Henry Couch are hereby appointed as Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for the mataitai reserve for a term of 5 years commencing the day this notice comes into effect.

Consent to the Distribution of Changed Medicines

Pursuant to section 20 of the Medicines Act 1981, the Minister of Health hereby consents to the distribution in New Zealand of the changed medicines which were referred to the Minister of Health under the provisions of section 24 (5) of the Act and are set out in the Schedule hereto:
