Reserves Act 1977

Corrigendum

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, Canterbury, hereby amends the notice authorising an exchange of part of a reserve for other land, dated 18 November 1998, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 191, page 4494, as follows:

1. Deleting the reference to “Part C.T. 420/204” in the First Schedule and substituting in it’s place “Part C.T. 430/204”.

2. Deleting the reference to “Part C.T. 420/205” in the Second Schedule and substituting in it’s place “Part C.T. 430/205”.

Change of Purpose and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, hereby changes the purpose of the local purpose reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from a site for an arboretum and county buildings, to a site for scenic and memorial purposes and declares that the reserve shall hereafter be known as the Tom Watson Memorial Reserve.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as an historic reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, to be known as the Tokitoki Historic Reserve.

Change of Classification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, East Coast/Hawke’s Bay Conservancy, changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from a recreation reserve to a local purpose (cemetery) reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, East Coast/Hawke’s Bay Conservancy, revokes the reservation over the land described in the Schedule, as local purpose (passive recreation) reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for a hospital, over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
