Revocation of Syllabuses

Pursuant to section 75 of the Education Act 1964 (as amended by section 5 of the Education Amendment Act (No. 2) 1982), the Minister of Education hereby revokes the following syllabuses:

(a) The syllabus known as “Health Education in Primary and Secondary Schools (1985)” referred to in the syllabus notice made under the Education Act 1964 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on 8 November 1990, No. 195, page 4256; and

(b) The syllabus known as “Home Economics Syllabus Forms 1 to 4 (1985)” referred to in the syllabus notice made under the Education Act 1964 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on 20 June 1985, No. 116, page 2611; and

(c) The syllabus known as “Physical Education: Syllabus for Junior Classes to Form 7, with Guidelines for Early Childhood Education” referred to in the syllabus notice made under the Education Act 1964 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on 14 May 1992, No. 68, page 1365.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 20 November 1997, which was granted under those regulations to Paulette Brown in respect of:

Te Atawhai Te Kohanga Reo (52793), situated at 7 Kauri Street, Levin.

The centre has ceased to operate.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreements

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that supplementary integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietors of the following schools:

• Kaikohe Christian School, Kaikohe.
• Good Shepherd School, Balmoral.
• Christ The King School, Owairaka.
• St Mary’s School, Ellerslie.

The said supplementary integration agreements were executed on the 25th day of November 1998. Copies of the supplementary integration agreements are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 39–45 College Hill, Ponsonby, Auckland.
