Fire Service Act 1975

Upper Moutere Fire District Notice, November 1998

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as the Upper Moutere Fire District Notice, November 1998.

2. This notice shall come into force on the 30th day of November 1998.

3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for the fire protection agreement pertaining to Upper Moutere.

Constitution of Fire District

4. The urban area of Upper Moutere is hereby constituted as a fire district.

5. The boundary of the constituted district is defined and delineated on a plan held at the Regional Office, Arapawa Fire Region, New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Reserves Act 1977

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, Canterbury, hereby authorises the exchange of that part of the reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land, described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, Canterbury Conservancy, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Christchurch City Council on the 9th day of September 1998:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said city council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.
