Land Taken as Severance and Vested at 47 Forfar Street, Christchurch
Pursuant to section 119 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that the land described in the Schedule, shall be taken for severance and be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 22F/223 (Canterbury Registry).

127 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 3, D.P. 23672; shown as “N” on S.O. Plan 19737, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch.

Land Acquired for Scenic Reserve, Right of Way and Road, Upper Retaruke Road, Ruapehu District
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), declares that, agreement to that effect having been entered into,
(i) the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is acquired for scenic reserve purposes and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the *New Zealand Gazette*.
(ii) an easement for a vehicular right of way is acquired for scenic reserve purposes over the land in the Second Schedule which shall be subject to the terms and conditions in the Third Schedule and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the *New Zealand Gazette* (and may be surrendered at any time by notice in the *New Zealand Gazette*). This easement is to be forever appurtenant to the land in the First Schedule.
(b) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares that, the land described in the Fourth Schedule to this notice is acquired for road and vested in The Ruapehu District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Terms and Conditions of Vehicular Right of Way

Subject to the provisions of this Schedule the provisions in the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952 and the Ninth Schedule of the Property Law Act apply.

Use of the right of way is limited to employees of the Department of Conservation (or any succeeding department) and its contractors.

Whenever the right of way is to be used the registered proprietors of it will first be advised and the person so using it is to ensure all gates are closed.

Access is limited to the formed track within the easement area.

Amending a Gazette Notice
Amending a Notice in Strathallan Street, Timaru, Set Apart for Railway Purposes
Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Trevor Knowles, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the notice dated 14 September 1998, published in the New Zealand Gazette on 24 September 1998, No. 157, page 3788, by deleting from the Schedule to that notice the land described in the First Schedule hereto and amending the land to that notice described in the Second Schedule hereto.
