Amending a Gazette Notice Declaring Land Acquired for Road in Block XIV, Puniu Survey District, Otorohanga District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Sarah Caroline Buchanan, Land Information New Zealand:

pursuant to section 54, hereby revokes:

• the Notice Amending a Declaration Acquiring Land in Otorohanga District for Road, dated the 19th day of March 1998, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 26 March 1998, No. 45, page 1051; and
• the Notice Amending a Declaration Acquiring Land in Otorohanga District for Road, dated the 25th day of June 1998, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 2 July 1998, No. 89, page 2036;

and pursuant to section 55, hereby amends:

• the Notice Declaring Land Acquired for Road in Block XIV, Puniu Survey District, Otorohanga District, dated the 17th day of June, 1987 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 9 July 1987, No. 107, page 3176, by deleting the land described in the Schedule thereto and substituting:

  37 Part Lot 1, D.P. 23196; marked “C” on S.O. Plan 52620.

  38 Part Lot 2, D.P. 32685; marked “B” on S.O. Plan 60846.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road and is vested in The Tauranga District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road and vested in The Rodney District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 116 (1), declares the portion of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped.
