Amending a Notice Acquiring Land and Easements for Irrigation Purposes (Maungatapere Irrigation Scheme) Over Land in the Whangarei District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the following notices, acquiring land and easements for irrigation purposes.

and substituting the following:

“... are acquired in perpetuity...”

Land Acquired for Scenic Reserve—Te Awatea, Chatham Islands—Wellington District

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for scenic reserve subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977, on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Set Apart for Reserves in Thames—Coromandel District

Pursuant to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares:

(a) The land described in the First Schedule to this notice, to be set apart as a local purpose [water treatment plant and reservoir] reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and to remain vested in The Thames—Coromandel District Council.

(b) The land described in the Second Schedule to this notice, to be set apart as a local purpose [esplanade] reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and to remain vested in The Thames—Coromandel District Council.
