Amending a Notice Acquiring Land for Better Utilisation (Access Way) in Waikato District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the notice dated 10 August 1998, acquiring land for better utilisation (access way) in Waikato District, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 27 August 1998, No. 125 at page 3050, by deleting the two lines of the Schedule thereto and substituting the following:

24 square metres, being part Lot 7, D.P. S. 41049; marked “B” on S.O. Plan 60748.

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. A. Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the notice dated the 10th day of August 1998, setting apart land for granting as compensation in Waikato District, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 27 August 1998, No. 125 at page 3051, by deleting the two lines of the Schedule thereto and substituting the following:

Land to be Set Apart for a Reserve for Historic Purposes, Ohiwa Harbour, Opotiki District

Pursuant to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart as a reserve for historic purposes, for the protection of the Tokitoki Pa Site, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.

Road Stopped and Vested Ohiwa Harbour, Opotiki District

Pursuant to sections 116 (1) and 117 (3) (b) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares the road in the Schedule to be stopped and further declares:

(i) The area marked A (now known as Section 1, S.O. 8869) shall be vested in the Crown as Crown land.

(ii) The area marked B (now known as Section 2, S.O. 8869) shall vest in the Crown as Crown land and on vesting shall be subject to section 9A of the Foreshore and Seabed Endowment Revesting Act 1991.

Road Realignment—Tauranga Northern Arterial, Tauranga District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for use in connection with a road, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, subject to the encumbrances as set out in the First Schedule.

(b) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(c) Declares the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be taken under section 119 (1), (now known as Section 1, S.O. 60962) and shall be amalgamated with certificate of title 61C/877.
