Conservation Act 1987

Declaring the Disposition of Land to be Exempt from Section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987

Pursuant to section 24B (4) (b) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that section 24 of the Conservation Act, which deals with the reservation of marginal strips, shall not apply to the disposition of the land in the Schedule hereto.

The land constitutes the New Plymouth Power Station, an area which is required in connection with electricity works.

Taranaki Land District—New Plymouth District

18.8910 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 17229, situated in Block IV, Paritutu Survey District.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule below, is hereby held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

688 square metres, more or less, being Lot 3, D.P. 9475, situated in Block XIV, Reefton Survey District. All certificate of title 6D, folio 1350.

Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule below, is hereby held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Amendment to a Notice

Pursuant to section 50A (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby amends an error in the notice entitled Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes published in the New Zealand Gazette, 30 July 1998, No. 100, page 2298, by deleting the Schedule and inserting in its place the following Schedule.

4.2107 hectares, more or less, being Section 358, Block I, Takitimu Survey District.

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, Canterbury, hereby revokes the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Christchurch City Council on such terms and conditions as The Christchurch City Council shall determine. Proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

179 square metres, being part Lot 1, D.P. 34231; shown as “A” on S.O. 20020. Part certificate of title 13K/806.
