The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 21st day of September 1998, the New Zealand Association of Hairdressers Incorporated, was granted full recognition as an Industry Training Organisation for the Hairdressing Industry for a further period of 5 years with effect from the 18th day of October 1998.

It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the above areas:

Levels 1–8.

The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990

Pursuant to regulations 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Charles Anthony Johnson, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicles specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements specified in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

(2) The direction indicators must be in sound condition, good working order, and must not be modified in any way;

(3) This exemption may be revoked at any time.

(4) A copy of this notice must be carried with each vehicle at all times and must be readily available for inspection.
