Amendment to Notice—Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Ngati Ruanui

Under sections 146 and 155 of the Education Act 1989, and section 25 (h) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1924, I hereby amend paragraph 5 (a) of the New Zealand Gazette notice dated 18 December 1997 at page 4258 of the Constitution of the Board of Trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Ngati Ruanui to read as follows:

“(a) 5 people elected by parents of students (other than adult students) likely to be enrolled at the kura in the year it opens or the next year.”

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 23 May 1997, which was granted under those regulations to Margaret Herekuia in respect of:

This centre has ceased to operate.
